If you're budgeting for a conference, seminar or company dinner, photography is usually one of the last line items — and one of the most confusing to price. Quotes for the same event can vary by a factor of three. Having covered 800+ events a year since 2008, here's an honest breakdown of what you should expect to pay in Singapore in 2026, and why quotes differ so much.
Typical price ranges in 2026
Most professional event photographers in Singapore charge by coverage hours:
Hourly (2-hour minimum): $150–$350 per hour
Half-day (4 hours): $600–$1,200
Full-day (8 hours): $1,000–$2,200
Multi-day conference: custom pricing, usually per-day rates with a volume discount
These ranges reflect the general Singapore market for corporate work.
What actually affects the price
Experience with your event type. A photographer who has covered ministerial visits knows protocol — who takes precedence in a group photo, when not to fire a flash, how to work with security. That experience costs more than a generalist, and it's worth it for high-stakes events.
Turnaround time. Standard delivery in the industry is 3–7 days. Faster delivery — like our 24–48 hour galleries and same-day RAPID24 selects — requires editors working immediately after, or during, your event.
Number of photographers. Concurrent breakout rooms, a stage plus a networking area, or 500+ guests usually need a second shooter. Expect roughly 70–90% of the first photographer's rate for each additional one.
Deliverables. Publication-ready edited images are the baseline. Prints, same-day slideshows, or combined photo-video coverage add to the quote but often cost less bundled than booked separately.
Red flags in cheap quotes
A very low hourly quote usually means one of three things: a hobbyist without backup equipment, no editing included, or delivery times measured in weeks. For an internal team lunch that may be fine. For an event with your CEO, a guest-of-honour or media presence, the risk isn't worth the money saved.
